Hi, I'm Belinda, founder of Healthcare Innovations, Credentialled Diabetes Educator, Registered Nurse and Menopause Coach. For more than 20 years, I've had the privilege of supporting people through diabetes, hormonal changes, chronic health and metabolic health challenges, helping them better understand their bodies and feel more confident in their health.
Over the years, I've seen just how confusing and overwhelming health can feel when symptoms don't make sense, blood sugars become unpredictable, or the advice you're given feels conflicting or difficult to apply in everyday life. I believe healthcare should help you make sense of what's happening in your body — not leave you feeling frustrated, unsupported or trying to figure it all out on your own.
My approach combines evidence-based healthcare with nutrition, lifestyle medicine and behaviour change strategies to provide practical, personalised support that fits real life. I don't believe in quick fixes or one-size-fits-all advice. Instead, I work alongside my clients to simplify the science, connect the dots and help them make meaningful, sustainable changes that support their long-term health and wellbeing.
I have a special interest in diabetes, insulin resistance, menopause and the relationship between blood sugar, hormones and metabolic health. One of the most rewarding parts of my work is helping people move from feeling confused, overwhelmed and frustrated to feeling more informed, confident and in control of their health.
In addition to supporting individuals, I also work with school and organisations to deliver practical, evidence-based education that helps improve diabetes management, metabolic health and women's wellbeing in the workplace.
Above all, I want the people I work with to feel heard, supported and reassured that they don't have to navigate their health alone. My goal is to help you understand your body, make informed decisions and create realistic changes that make a meaningful difference to how you feel every day.
